I spent 20+ years in enterprise B2B sales leadership and executive placement across aerospace & defense, advanced manufacturing, and mission-critical industries. I've sat in the rooms where hiring decisions are made. I've seen what happens when they go right, and what it costs when they go wrong.

Here's what I learned: most mis-hires don't happen because the candidate was wrong. They happen because the role was never properly defined. The job description was a wish list.
